Andover, Mass., October 1, 2011 – The Parents of Students at Phillips Academy (PSPA) teamed up with the Harvard Club of Andover to donate sports equipment to needy kids in Haiti on Non Sibi Day.

Local parents dropped off the donations at the GW circle and distance parents shipped in the donations. The volunteers packed a truckload of shipping boxes filled with soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, uniforms, Frisbees, running shoes, and cleats bound for Haiti. All the sports equipment will be sent to Ronald Watson, a Phillips Academy alumni serving at “Child in Hand,” a group which improves the lives of children struck by the earthquake that killed 300,000.
